San Luis Care Center in Newman, CA is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead clinical nutrition services for residents in a 71-bed skilled nursing setting. You will complete nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with nursing, therapy, and clinical teams to support resident wellness.

This role requires RD certification, a Bachelor's in Nutrition, experience in long-term care or clinical nutrition, strong communication, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietitian certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Long-term care or clinical nutrition experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to pass employment screenings.

Responsabilités

• Complete nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor nutrition and hydration status to support resident wellness
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and clinical teams on resident care
• Provide nutrition education and guidance to staff, residents, and families
• Support quality improvement efforts and best practices in nutritional care
• Serve as a clinical nutrition resource within the facility
