Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines, assist with meal prep, and engage with residents to ensure a positive dining experience.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state rules. Lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods are part of the role, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; food service experience welcomed.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds, push 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required; COVID-19 vaccination policies must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
