Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions.
• Understands therapeutic diets and follows physician orders.
• Must be able to read and write the English language.
• Must be able to lift 35–50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for safety handling and preparing appetizing and palatable food.
• Follows written menus and recipes and is able to understand and follow menu extensions.
• Understands therapeutic diets and serves them as per physician’s orders.
• Follows menus and recipes avoiding food waste.
• Serves food according to meal schedules.
• Responsible for care and cleaning of food service equipment.
• Works cooperatively with food service staff and other departments.
• Represents the dietary department in a professional manner and accepts duties from supervisor.
