Job summary

Wellsprings Care Center in Englewood, CO seeks a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents per planned menus. You will ensure food safety, portion control, and timely service in a collaborative kitchen setting.

Responsibilities include supervising staff when needed, maintaining compliance with health regulations, and assisting in daily kitchen tasks while upholding high standards of quality and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in the dining department of a senior care community preferred.
• Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Serve safe certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, season, and serve balanced meals per menus.
• Maintain hot food hot and cold food cold.
• Supervise other dietary staff in the absence of the Executive Chef.
• Follow federal and state regulations and company policies.
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed.
