Job summary

City Scape Rehabilitation and Care Center in Denver, CO is seeking a caring and dynamic Cook to join our Skilled Nursing Facility Dietary Services Team. You will prepare and serve meals according to the menu, follow safe food handling guidelines, and contribute to nutritionally appropriate nourishment for our residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years as cook in a large-scale operation preferred.
• One year’s work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Ensures meals are prepared and served following food safety guidelines.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Monitors temperatures and ensures proper food handling and storage.
• Assists with ordering, inventory, and menu adjustments as needed.
