Covenant Place in Sumter, SC is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment. This role requires empathy, attentiveness, and teamwork.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of state PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health, behavior, and physical condition to the nursing team.
• Foster positive relationships with residents through companionship and meaningful interactions.
• Ensure living areas are clean, organized, and safe; follow infection control protocols.
