Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking an energetic Community Outreach Representative to act as the face of our organization in Charlotte, NC. You will build partnerships, educate the community about available healthcare resources, and drive engagement and growth through events and outreach activities.

The role requires at least 2 years in community outreach or related fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in community outreach, grassroots marketing, or lead generation through events.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and represent Alignment professionally in the community.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to obtain a state health insurance license within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads through community outreach, events, and relationship-building activities.
• Represent Alignment Health Plan at health fairs, community events, educational seminars, senior centers, faith-based organizations, and other local venues.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, healthcare providers, senior organizations, and referral partners.
• Educate prospective members on Alignment Health Plan’s benefits, services, provider network, and available healthcare resources.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and compliance teams to support outreach efforts and community engagement initiatives.
• Plan, coordinate, and present at community events, member education sessions, and new member orientation programs.
• Maintain event calendars, track outreach activities, and provide regular reporting on lead-generation efforts.
• Conduct outreach to physician offices and community partners to promote Alignment Health Plan and support referral opportunities.
• Support special projects and additional community outreach initiatives as assigned.
