Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking an energetic Community Outreach Representative to serve as the face of our organization in the Charlotte community. You will generate leads, educate on health resources, and build partnerships with senior-focused groups.

The role requires minimum two years in outreach, strong communication and relationship-building, and the ability to travel locally around the market. A state health license may be pursued after hire, with remote work possible by manager approval.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in community outreach, grassroots marketing, or lead generation through in-person events.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and represent Alignment professionally in the community.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads through community outreach, events, and relationship-building activities.
• Represent Alignment Health Plan at health fairs, community events, educational seminars, senior centers, faith-based organizations, and other local venues.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, healthcare providers, senior organizations, and referral partners.
• Educate prospective members on Alignment Health Plan's benefits, services, provider network, and available healthcare resources.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and compliance teams to support outreach efforts and community engagement initiatives.
• Plan, coordinate, and present at community events, member education sessions, and new member orientation programs.
• Maintain event calendars, track outreach activities, and provide regular reporting on lead-generation efforts.
• Conduct outreach to physician offices and community partners to promote Alignment Health Plan and support referral opportunities.
• Support special projects and additional community outreach initiatives as assigned.
