Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home is seeking a dependable Client Care Assistant to support seniors at home, coordinate caregivers, and handle office tasks. The role blends client visits with hands-on care when needed and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in office work and senior care, with CNA preferred. Willingness to travel within the local area and participate in after-hours backup on-call is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of office experience required.
• Two or more years of senior care experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Sound judgment, patience, professionalism, and the ability to take initiative.
• Willingness to travel locally to clients’ homes and provide hands-on care when needed.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or hospice is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients to check on their care, satisfaction, and changing needs.
• Introduce caregivers to clients and help them understand care expectations.
• Communicate with families, caregivers, and office staff to address concerns and support consistent care.
• Assist with caregiver orientation and maintain accurate documentation.
• Help resolve last-minute staffing needs and provide direct care when coverage cannot be arranged.
• Participate in backup on-call support, including after-hours needs.
