Job summary

Touching Hearts at Home - North Houston is seeking a dependable Client Care Assistant to support seniors at home with office tasks, client visits, and hands-on care when needed. Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with backup on-call responsibilities. Compensation: Salaried.

You'll visit clients to assess care needs, orient caregivers, coordinate with families and staff, and help resolve last‑minute staffing gaps while providing direct care when coverage is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of office experience required.
• 2+ years of senior care experience preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to clients’ homes and provide hands-on care when needed.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or hospice welcome.

Responsibilities

• Visit clients to check on their care, satisfaction, and changing needs.
• Introduce caregivers to clients and help them understand care expectations.
• Communicate with families, caregivers, and office staff to address concerns and support consistent care.
• Assist with caregiver orientation and maintain accurate documentation.
• Help resolve last-minute staffing needs and provide direct care when coverage cannot be arranged.
• Participate in backup on-call support, including after-hours needs.
