Job summary

West PACE is hiring a Personal Care Worker to support seniors in our North County program. You will provide daily personal care, hygiene, mobility assistance, and safety monitoring, both at the center and in participants' homes.

You’ll document care, communicate changes, and participate in care planning with an interdisciplinary team. Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver license with clean record.

Qualifications

• Must possess GED or high school diploma.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Original valid driver license with proof of auto insurance.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance including toileting, showering, eating, oral care and grooming.
• Assist with activity, exercise, mobility and safety in center and home settings.
• Report changes in condition and participate in interdisciplinary team assessments.
• Escort participants to appointments and maintain confidential records.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times.
