Job summary

Bosworth Care Home in Weymouth is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, dignity and independence in a warm, supportive environment.

You will help develop and review care plans, administer medications safely, and lead activities and companionship. The role offers ongoing training, pension benefits, funded qualifications up to QCF level 5, and a refer a friend bonus scheme.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:

• Person-centred care: supporting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and oral care while promoting independence and choice
• Care planning: contributing to care reviews to ensure support plans reflect individual needs
• Medication support: administering medication safely and in line with procedures
• Activities & companionship: taking part in social activities, outings, and meaningful engagement within the home
• Team support: helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
• Level 2 Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 3)
• Previous experience working within a care home
• Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
