About Us:

We are seeking a Senior Caregiver to join our friendly team.

We are currently offering 36 hours per week, inclusive of weekend work.

Hourly rate: £12.50 – £12.75 per hour (Pay is dependent upon qualifications).

We do not currently offer sponsorship at this time.

What does the job role involve?

We understand that care roles are demanding, and we are looking for candidates who are able to support our residents to remain active and independent which includes but is not limited to:

  1. Caring and supporting our amazing residents in their journey with Aurem Care.
  2. Providing personal care, social support and making impactful and heartwarming memories.
  3. Ensuring the needs of our residents are met through the use of our electronic care platform “Nourish.”
  4. Working within a committed team.
  5. Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice.
  6. Supervising, guiding, and supporting a group of care assistants.
  7. Assisting in the planning and monitoring of resident care.
  8. Assisting with care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme.
  9. Any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.

What makes a successful candidate:

  1. Must have previous senior care experience.
  2. NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care obtained.
  3. Enthusiastic about providing care.
  4. Great values and compassion for supporting people.
  5. Ability to work well as part of a team and independently, showing creativity and passion for the work you do.
  6. Great communication skills.
  7. Ability to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
  8. Engaging well with the people we support in their continuing interests and supporting positive experiences.
