About The Role
This role involves planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and positively influence your team. Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, communication with families, and providing social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
