Job summary

Complete Care at Kimberly Hall South is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents through engaging programs and meaningful interaction in a long-term care setting. You will lead group activities, provide one-on-one attention, and collaborate with care teams to tailor plans based on resident needs and preferences, fostering a warm, compassionate environment every day.

This full-time role includes every other weekend work and offers a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Ability to lead group programs.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
• Experience with a long term care population/setting

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in activities like games, crafts, exercise sessions, and other group programs.
• Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist with activity planning and scheduling.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff about activities and programs.
