Job summary

Aspire Senior Living in Kimberly is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to create meaningful, person-centered experiences for residents living with dementia. You will design and lead daily programs, build one-on-one connections, and use dementia-care techniques to promote engagement, reduce anxiety, and joy.

The role requires patience, empathy, and excellent communication as part of a collaborative care team. Flexibility for varied hours and participation in events is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in Memory Care or dementia care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage residents in meaningful activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with person-centered activities designed for residents with memory loss.
• Adapt activities to accommodate cognitive and physical abilities while celebrating strengths.
• Build meaningful one-on-one relationships through individualized visits and engagement.
• Monitor mood, behavior or condition and communicate concerns to nursing staff.
• Document resident participation and responses to activities in the care system.
• Collaborate with caregivers, nursing staff, volunteers, and families to provide personalized programming.
• Assist with community outings and special events while ensuring safety and comfort.
