Job summary

Aspire Senior Living in Kimberly, WI is seeking a compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to create meaningful, person-centered activities for Memory Care residents living with Alzheimer's and other dementias. You will collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to design and lead engaging programs that promote comfort, engagement, dignity, and joy.

Ideal candidates have memory care experience, patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt activities to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in memory care or dementia care settings.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and compassion in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with person-centered activities for residents with dementia.
• Use dementia-specific techniques to promote engagement and reduce anxiety.
• Build one-on-one relationships through individualized visits and engagement.
• Adapt activities to residents' cognitive and physical abilities.
• Provide sensory, music, reminiscence, and light exercise activities.
• Collaborate with caregivers, nursing staff, and volunteers to plan programming.
