Job summary

VOANS Senior Community Care of Northern Kentucky PACE in Florence, KY is seeking an Activities Assistant to design engaging programs for older adults. This paid opportunity offers Mon-Fri scheduling with occasional evenings and weekends, within a compassionate, mission-driven healthcare team.

You will support participants’ wellbeing, follow care plans, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely, person-centered care in a welcoming campus environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing activities programming to elderly population.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow care plans and medical orders
• Long-term care experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Experience providing activities programming to elderly population.
• Support PACE Participants’ physical and emotional well‑being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person‑centered care
• Monitor and report changes in participants’ condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
