Job summary

Volunteers of America’s Senior Community Care of Northern Kentucky PACE in Florence, KY is seeking an Activities Assistant. This role supports elderly participants through engaging activities, promoting well-being and meaningful daily moments.

You’ll coordinate programming, follow care plans, and work with a compassionate team to deliver person-centered care in a welcoming campus setting. Monday–Friday with occasional weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience providing activities programming to elderly population.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow care plans and medical orders
• Long-term care experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide activities programming to elderly population.
• Support Participants’ physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering person-centered care
• Monitor and report changes in participants’ condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00, based on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends and evenings

Senior Community Care of Kentucky PACE (Northern) provides healthcare and supportive services for individuals age 55 and older, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes and communities. As a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provider, our interdisciplinary teams deliver personalized, comprehensive care tailored to each participant’s needs.
