Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community for the Houston area. The role focuses on driving demand for BMS medicines through scientific engagement with HCPs, maintaining deep clinical knowledge, and delivering compliant, high-quality customer experiences.

The TAS will spend significant time in the field with external customers, building credibility with regional leaders and community physicians.

Qualifications

Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience in pharma/biotech sales or medical science liaison roles.
Ability to communicate scientific data clearly to physicians and HCPs.
Proven track record in account management and meeting/exceeding sales goals.
Experience working cross-functionally to improve customer experience and outcomes.
Cardiovascular therapeutic area experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
Conducts in-office presentations and lunch-and-learns with HCPs in line with product labeling.
Organizes external speaker programs and coordinates scheduling and logistics.
Maintains up-to-date scientific knowledge across assigned products and therapies.
Uses CE^3 data to inform call planning and improves customer experience.
