Job summary

Providence Health Plan Group is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist to assist Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. This role involves performing essential tasks to help enhance patient care and support healthcare operations.

  • 2 years of community college/vocational training in Cardiovascular Technologist program.
  • Must hold Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • Need National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.

Description

Under the direction of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Manager, Supervisor, and/or Cardiologist assists Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training and two years of community college/vocational training in a certified Cardiovascular Technologist training program and/or Radiological Technologist (RT).
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Or
  • Upon hire: Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification
  • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
  • Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coursework/Training and Interventional Radiology training.
  • Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
