Job summary

Providence Health & Services is looking for a Clinical Care professional to assist Cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This full-time position is based at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. Candidates must have the necessary qualifications and certifications, including a Washington Radiologic Technologist License.

Qualifications

• Two years of community college or vocational training in a certified Cardiovascular Technologist training program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist or Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification required upon hire.
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists mandatory upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Support the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Manager and Supervisor with procedures.

Description

Under the direction of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Manager, Supervisor, and/or Cardiologist, assists Cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Manager, Supervisor, and/or Cardiologist.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training and two years of community college/vocational training in a certified Cardiovascular Technologist training program and/or Radiological Technologist (RT).
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist or Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification.
• Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training and Interventional Radiology training.
• Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience.
