Job summary

Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform non-invasive echocardiography tests for diagnosis of cardiac disorders. Reports to the Director of Cardiovascular Services and joins a dedicated cardiology team at Providence.

Minimum qualifications include AMA-approved echocardiography education, RDCS/ARDMS or CCI certification on hire, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Echocardiography.
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or ARDMS certification upon hire.
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Sufficient experience to work effectively in echocardiography and understand its principles and techniques.

Description

Performs a variety of non-invasive echocardiography tests for use in the diagnosis of cardiac disorders. As an integral member of the departmental team the Echocardiography Technologist performs tasks as requested to help insure quality patient care as provided by the Cardiology Department. Reports to the Director of Cardiovascular Services.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school for Echocardiography
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire -OR-
• National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• Sufficient experience to enable the employee to work effectively in commonplace work situations and to provide a working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods and techniques of the Echocardiography field
