Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals and promote cardiovascular products, delivering clinical knowledge and guidance on payer navigation.

You will act as the primary contact in the territory, implement marketing strategy, and promote Amgen products under the District Manager’s leadership. The role emphasizes building relationships, achieving sales targets, and sustaining a patient-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR High school diploma and 8 years of sales/clinical experience.
• Preferred: 3+ years of sales in pharma/biotech/medical device; local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Life Sciences or Business Administration degree; core competencies alignment

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and programs to achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and analyze territory performance with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and maintain patient focus throughout the sales cycle.
