Job summary

Amgen is actively seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for the Cardiovascular portfolio in the United States. You will provide clinical knowledge to medical professionals and help navigate the payer environment.

The role requires delivering on marketing strategy and acting as the primary customer contact to promote Amgen products. As part of Amgen’s team, you’ll build relationships, manage accounts, and strive to meet or exceed sales targets while staying aligned

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications require a Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s degree and 4–6 years of sales experience OR high school diploma/GED plus 6–8 years of sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience OR an Associate degree and 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR high school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales/clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals and communicate the clinical benefits.
• Deliver branded sales messages, conduct planned programs, and achieve or exceed sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products throughout the sales cycle and maintain patient focus.
