Job summary

Amgen is hiring a Specialty Representative (Cardiovascular) in the United States to connect with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate the payer landscape. You will provide clinical insights and build strong customer relationships to drive territory success.

The Senior Specialty Representative role expands to leading sales programs, developing territory plans with the District Manager, and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma with 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales/clinical healthcare experience OR Associate degree with 6 years of sales/clinical experience OR High school diploma with 8 years of sales/clinical experience
• Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry and related disease areas; oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals
• Deliver branded sales messages and lead educational programs to drive sales
• Develop relationships to service accounts and manage reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and uphold company values
