Job summary

Amgen Inc. (IR) is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for the Cardiovascular Live role covering Seattle, WA and surrounding areas.

You will provide clinical knowledge to medical professionals and navigate the payer environment while implementing marketing strategies and promoting Amgen products. The role emphasizes territory management, relationship building with accounts, and delivering branded sales messages across in-person and virtual engagements.

Qualifications

• Specialty Representative: Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals and drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead via branded messages, planned programs, and educational events to meet sales targets.
• Develop relationships to manage accounts and navigate reimbursement issues and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Maintain patient-centric focus and uphold Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
