Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional coding experience required.
• Experience with CPT/ICD-10-CM coding and modifiers.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional fee coding and quality reviews for complex physician services.
• Assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and modifiers in line with payer rules.
• Code complex cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and catheter-based procedures.
• Identify documentation improvements and collaborate with providers.
• Conduct coding quality reviews, audits, and education to improve performance.
• Interpret NCCI edits, modifiers, split/shared services, and documentation guidance.
• Mentor lower-level staff and support revenue cycle initiatives.
