Job summary

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical training in cardiac ultrasound.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification.
• 5 years related work experience.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs all functions of a Cardiac Sonographer III.
• Assists in daily echo lab operations; serves as liaison for staff/physicians.
• Prioritizes inpatient echo requests and schedules urgent exams.
• Maintains teaching schedule and assists in clinical education.
• Develops training materials and leads workshops for staff.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reporting software issues.
• Supports IAC accreditation activities.
