Atlantic Health System is seeking an Echo Sonographer III to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams and report findings in a collaborative lab setting. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality, and adherence to protocols within a leading New Jersey healthcare system.

Ideal candidates will hold ARDMS/CCI registry, be a Registered Sonographer, and possess BLS certification, demonstrating strong interpersonal and technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Registry through CCI or ARDMS is required.
• Registered Sonographer credential is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilités

• Performs comprehensive ultrasound exams following established protocols and reports results.
• Completes clerical tasks for ultrasound tests and ensures timely reporting of critical results.
• Communicates with physicians, patients, and center staff; supports policy adherence and patient education.
• Promotes teamwork, accountability and professional development; mentors others.
• Maintains a clean, organized lab environment and proper equipment maintenance.
• Identifies learning needs and attends in-services to upgrade skills.
