Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Cardiac Rhythm Management Clinical Specialist to support the Boise territory. This role requires living in the region and regular travel to customer sites.

The position entails technical CRM device support, clinician education, and collaboration with sales teams to meet objectives. Strong cardiac device knowledge and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are essential. Weekend/after-hours coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma PLUS a minimum 8 years OR Associate’s Degree PLUS a minimum 6 years OR Bachelor’s Degree PLUS a minimum 4 years of work experience in healthcare, field sales, or work experience utilizing complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science or computing

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for CRM devices and therapies by performing system checks/interrogations, supporting implants, troubleshooting issues, and applying knowledge gained through CRM training.
• Coordinate operational support by ensuring accurate patient documentation, managing inventory and equipment resources, maintaining programmer software, and assisting with daily coverage logistics.
• Educate physicians, hospital staff, office personnel, and field team members on CRM products, therapies, and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and field partners to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and the value of Medtronic CRM products.
• Identify customer opportunities, support purchase order activities, monitor competitive trends, and provide actionable feedback to help achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain technical expertise by staying current on new CRM products, therapies, solutions, and patient management offerings.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customer clinics, hospitals, and business meetings.
• Perform physical job requirements including lifting up to 40 lbs, sitting/standing 8+ hours per day.
• Work in clinical environments with exposure to eye protection, infectious disease, and radiation, while wearing 7-9 lbs of lead for extended periods.
