Job summary

Atria Health is launching its Los Angeles Institute and seeks a senior echocardiography specialist to lead the cardiac imaging program. You will perform advanced echocardiography, enforce standardized protocols, and ensure high-quality diagnoses in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

You will train staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with clinicians, finance, and IT to deliver excellence in preventive and precision-based care for our members on the West Coast.

Qualifications

• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic sonography or cardiovascular tech program.
• Minimum 5+ years of clinical cardiac experience; lead/senior capacity preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 2D, 3D, and M-mode echocardiograms including Stress Echo and TEE.
• Protocol implementation per Medical Director and ICAEL standards.
• Quality checks of echocardiograms and image review before cardiologist interpretation.
• Lead IAC data collection for renewals and site inspections.
• On-site clinical training and competency assessments for staff echo techs.
• Coordinate daily cardiac schedule and improve throughput.
• Oversee echo equipment and HLD compliance with vendors.
• Act as primary technical liaison to Cardiologists for critical findings.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.
