Qualifications

• Completion of program related to sonography with emphasis on echocardiography/cardiac sonography.
• Minimum 1 year experience performing Echocardiograms, Stress Echos, ECGs and related cardiology diagnostics.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiography per policy and procedure within standard shift times.
• Collaborates with the Echo Cardiologist and Supervisor to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Produces high quality images and documents patient data for timely interpretation.
• Maintains accurate procedure documentation and charges in PACS and records.
• Performs studies within competency level and provides patient education as needed.
• Ensures safe operation of department workflow and equipment maintenance.
