Job summary

Qualifications

• Performs diagnostic echocardiograms and stress echo procedures as ordered.
• Explains procedures and possible side effects to the patient or family members.
• Confirms physician requests and evaluates patients' clinical history for proper indicators and possible contraindications.
• Maintains patient medical records and organizes the reporting process (study completion, physician interpretation, final report).
• Performs portable echocardiograms and participates in on-call weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operates echocardiography equipment.
• Submits final reports to appropriate units or records.
• Communicates findings to physicians and care teams.
