Houston Methodist is seeking an Advanced Echo Sonographer (AES) to conduct advanced cardiac echo studies, quantitate images, and prepare preliminary reports for physician review. The AES collaborates with clinicians, mentors staff, and contributes to research under physician supervision.

The role requires extensive experience in echocardiography, proficiency with multiple ultrasound systems, and strong communication to ensure accurate, diagnosable exams in a busy clinical setting.

Qualificações

• Seven years of experience as cardiac echo sonographer with hospital-based practice
• Research experience in scanning and data processing preferred
• RDCS-AE, RDCS, RSC, RCCS, RVS or RVT certifications; ACS Advanced Cardiac Sonographer
• Basic Life Support certification

Responsabilidades

• Performs and quantifies echocardiographic images and pre-reads exams
• Prepares preliminary interpreting reports for attending physicians
• Assists physicians during echocardiography and complies with research protocols
