Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiac Sonography Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology, preferred.
• Four (4) years of prior experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support; one of: RCS, RCCS, or RDCS.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms on patients with technique selection and image optimization.
• Provides mentorship and acts as a resource to staff and students.
• Supervises/coordinates exam scheduling and ensures patient flow in imaging.
• Reviews incomplete exams and unsigned reports; liaises between physicians and staff.
• Maintains equipment safety, quality assurance, and accreditation processes.
