Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to evaluate anatomy and pathophysiology of the heart and great vessels. You will perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, stress echo, and TEE, with imaging processed in PACS and reported electronically.

The role requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS/CCI credentials (RDCS/RCS) within 6 months, CPR within 90 days, and 3+ years of ultrasound experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
• 3+ years’ experience in diagnostic ultrasound after completing an accredited ultrasound program.
• Active ARDMS or CCI credentials; RDCS or RCS preferred within 6 months of hire.
• CPR required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Adult and Pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms and related stress echo procedures.
• Process images and reports using PACS and electronic reporting applications.
• Engage with sonographers, physicians, families, and patients to create a great patient experience.
• Support accreditation, quality assurance, education, and lab development projects.
