Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to evaluate anatomy and pathophysiology of the heart and great vessels through diagnostic ultrasound, performing Adult and Pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echo, and TEE.

Join our on-site team to image, process, and report via PACS and electronic systems, participate in cardiac cath lab and cardiovascular surgery procedures, and contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and lab development projects.

Qualifications

• Must be registry eligible at time of hire/transfer.
• ARDMS Cardiac RDCS or CCI credentials within 6 months.
• CPR required within 90 days from hire.
• New graduates: 0–1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate anatomy and pathophysiology of the heart and great vessels using diagnostic ultrasound.
• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, Stress Echo, and TEE procedures.
• Process images and reports via PACS and electronic reporting applications.
• Participate in cardiac cath lab and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Engage with sonographer team, physicians, families, and patients to ensure a great patient experience.
• Support lab accreditation, quality assurance, education, and lab development projects.
