Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform optimal radiographs with proper positioning and exposure settings. The role includes cross-training to support multiple modalities and collaboration with nursing and hospital staff to address patient care concerns.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT(R), Texas MRT licensure, and current BLS certification, with a commitment to compliance and ongoing professional development. Weekend and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Certification (R).
• Licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in Texas (Texas Medical Board).
• Must maintain current BLS certification according to unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs optimal radiographs for all patient populations by proper positioning and exposure settings.
• Participates in cross-training to function in multi-modality roles.
• Interacts with hospital staff regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts and assists in resolutions.
• Maintains performance skills and adheres to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Routinely works weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and/or on-call as needed.
