Job summary

Northeast Texas Healthcare System, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Tech in Amarillo, TX. You will assist physicians, operate imaging and monitoring equipment, and support patient care within the Cath Lab.

Responsibilities include assisting with catheter insertions, contrast administration, and ensuring accurate data recording, under RN supervision. Requires TX license and BLS/ACLS within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• American Registry of Radiology Technologist credential.
• Current State of Texas License.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintain certification.
• ACLS completion within 3 months after hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Assists Cardiologists/Electrophysiologists as a scrub assistant, including insertion and manipulation of cardiac catheters, diagnostic and interventional procedures, angiogram injections and acquisitions.
• Operation of physiological computer monitoring and imaging equipment
• Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing Radiographic Skills, including contrast administration according to policy
• Inventory maintenance
• Performance Improvement participation
• Transportation of patients
