Job summary

Highmark Health seeks an experienced professional to assist the Invasive Cardiologist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume lab. The role emphasizes collaboration with the team to ensure efficient, cost-effective operation and patient safety.

The candidate will demonstrate leadership, maintain up-to-date radiographic imaging expertise, and ensure meticulous documentation in regulatory and billing processes, including image storage and archiving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
• Certification: ARRT (CI/CV) or cardiovascular invasive specialist certification.
• Critical thinking and decisive, independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with diagnostic and interventional procedures; supports efficient, cost-effective lab functioning.
• Maintains expertise in radiographic imagery techniques for invasive cardiac/peripheral procedures.
• Orients and guides inexperienced staff on lab equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Anticipates adverse reactions during procedures and responds appropriately.
• Completes required documentation for procedures including regulatory, billing, and image storage/archival.
