Lockheed Martin Space (LMS) is seeking a Capture Management Director to lead large-scale capture campaigns across military, civil, national security, and commercial space markets.

You will define capture strategies, drive disciplined execution through the lifecycle, and collaborate with diverse leaders to maximize win rates and growth. The role oversees a multidisciplinary team and requires extensive experience with major captures and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years experience in aerospace/defense across multiple markets.
• Experience leading major captures/proposals valued $100M–$2B.
• Ability to lead across LM functional areas and engage government customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for capture and BD on large scale opportunities.
• Design and execute win strategies with competitive intelligence, teaming, customer assessments.
• Partner with senior LM Space executives to define shaping objectives and program baselines.
• Craft and deliver customer-focused messages to expand stakeholder base.
• Develop detailed capture and management plans ensuring disciplined execution and schedule adherence.
• Formulate mission/customer-oriented product strategies addressing growth opportunities.
• Lead engagement campaigns with government customers and external contractors.
• Accountable for shaping and securing new business by delivering differentiated, customer-aligned solutions.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers, teammates, and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate to develop and execute strategic growth plans and technology roadmaps.
