The Baldwin Group seeks a Manager, Captive Consulting to lead the captive practice, directing engagement delivery, colleague development, and growth of the practice. This senior advisor guides feasibility studies, formation projects, and ongoing reviews across captive markets.

The role combines deep captive and alternative risk financing expertise with proven leadership and business development to expand capabilities and drive new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience in captive consulting, risk management, or alternative risk financing, including team leadership.
• Designations such as ARM, CPCU, CCM or similar preferred.
• Travel may be required to client sites, captive domiciles, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and develops a team of Captive Consultants and Senior Captive Consultants; oversees staffing, workload, quality, and development.
• Serves as senior strategic advisor for the firm’s largest and most complex captive client relationships; oversees feasibility studies and formation projects.
• Drives growth of the captive consulting practice by identifying new business opportunities, leading proposals, and representing the practice in industry events.
• Partners with firm leadership on resourcing, budget, and strategic priorities for the captive consulting practice; monitors regulatory and tax developments.
