Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a Consulting Senior for its Construction and Real Estate Advisory practice. You will perform construction program reviews, contract cost audits, and real estate management assessments while offering best-practice consulting tailored to capital projects.

You will develop industry knowledge, technical skills, and client relationships to deliver integrated solutions addressing construction and real estate challenges, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive experience in construction management, real estate advisory, capital projects consulting, or related fields.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, PMP, or PE preferred.
• Knowledge of construction phases including planning, procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, and real estate portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate reviews and analyses of processes, controls, and compliance frameworks to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assess construction contracts, real estate lease agreements, and capital project performance for compliance and best practices.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency in real estate and construction operations.
• Lead fieldwork activities: data collection, site visits, interviews, and report preparation for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel, contractors, and other stakeholders to support oversight, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Support clients through the real estate and capital project lifecycle from inception to disposition, aligning with strategic objectives.
