The Senior Buyer, Capital Procurement at Scotts Miracle-Gro will source across engineering, construction, and capital budgets with a multi‑million scope, partnering with executives and suppliers to drive value and ensure delivery on strategic initiatives.

You will lead category strategies, manage RFXs, negotiate contracts, and support internal stakeholders with proactive procurement solutions, while traveling up to 25% to job sites.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Purchasing, Engineering, or other business-related fields.
• 4–7 years procurement experience with contract negotiations and lifecycle management.
• Expertise in financial analysis, cost model development, and project management.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience implementing new procurement concepts and driving change.
• Strong communication and analytical skills across tools like SAP/Ariba.
