CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Capital Modeling Lead for P&C Insurance in a remote capacity. The role develops internal economic capital modeling and analytics, working with cross‑functional teams to expand capital analytics in business decisions and potentially lead an internal model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 10+ years in P&C economic capital modeling or related quantitative insurance modeling.
• Strong programming capability in Python, R, or another quantitative language.

Responsibilities

• Develop/validate stochastic economic capital models integrating risks across underwriting, reserves, catastrophe, investments and more.
• Partner with Reinsurance, Investments, Product Management, catastrophe modeling and FP&A to translate results into business decisions.
• Develop methodologies for capital allocation and assessment of risk-adjusted profitability.
• Build reproducible modeling processes with data validation, testing, documentation and version control.
• Provide independent technical challenge and collaborate with external consultants on model enhancements.
