Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Capital Modeling Lead to develop internal economic capital models and analytics. The role collaborates with ERM, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, Product Management and FP&A to advance capital insights for business decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in P&C capital modeling, strong Python/R skills, and the ability to translate complex results for senior leadership. Remote-first with nationwide flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
• 10+ years in P&C insurance economic capital modeling or related quantitative modeling
• Strong programming capability in Python, R, or similar
• Ability to translate complex quantitative concepts to business leaders
• Experience with ReMetrica is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop internal economic capital modeling and analytics capabilities
• Build stochastic models integrating underwriting, reserve, catastrophe, investment and credit risks
• Collaborate with ERM, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, FP&A and Product teams
• Perform sensitivity, scenario, stress, and parameter uncertainty analyses
• Provide independent technical challenge and governance
