Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Capital Modeling Lead for P&C insurance with a remote/US footprint. You will develop CSAA's internal economic capital modeling and analytics capabilities and partner with ERM, Actuarial, Investments, Product Management, catastrophe modeling, and FP&A to inform strategic decisions.

The role requires 10+ years in P&C economic capital modeling, strong programming in Python or R, and experience with ReMetrica.

Qualifications

10+ years of related experience in P&C insurance economic capital modeling, enterprise risk modeling, or closely related quantitative insurance modeling.
Strong understanding of Monte Carlo simulation, VaR/TVaR, dependency modeling and capital attribution.
Experience designing or building stochastic models, not just operating existing ones.

Responsibilities

Develop deep technical understanding of CSAA's ReMetrica-based economic capital model.
Independently reproduce, challenge, and enhance model calculations and methodologies.
Design and build stochastic economic capital models integrating underwriting, reserve, catastrophe, investment, credit, reinsurance, and other risks.
Collaborate with ERM, Actuarial, Investments, Product Management, catastrophe modeling, and FP&A to expand capital analytics in decisions.
