Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an associate to practice in public company reporting and compliance, corporate governance, and capital markets. You will work day to day with public companies and support the national capital markets and public company advisory practice across life science, technology, and digital asset clients.

Ideal candidates have experience with large-cap and mid-cap issuers on periodic reporting, proxy statements, and Section 13/16 filings, and strong knowledge of the Securities Act and

Qualifications

• Experience with large cap and mid cap public companies on periodic reporting, proxy statements, and Section 13 and 16 filings.
• Strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Familiarity with Nasdaq and NYSE listing and governance requirements.

• The role supports DLA Piper's national capital markets and public company advisory practice, which focuses on life science, technology, and digital asset verticals for innovative issuer and underwriter clients.


• Requires experience working with large cap and mid cap public companies on periodic reporting, proxy statements, and Section 13 and Section 16 filings.


• Demands strong knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as well as Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange listing and governance requirements.


• The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring regular in-office presence with some flexibility for work-from-home.
