Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define and align strategy for capital expenditure sub commodities. You will act as the SME for assigned categories, leading strategic sourcing across large projects and civil/engineering services at one or more cement plants.

The role emphasizes supplier negotiation, contract execution, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize value. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in consultant, project management or sourcing roles

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering.
• Strong strategic sourcing expertise and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT) and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Define and align the strategy for sub commodities within scope.
• Lead and execute sourcing processes for capital projects.
• Develop frame agreements with main suppliers.
• Achieve targets for spend coverage, compliance and benefits.
• Identify cost savings, supplier consolidation and bundling opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional teams through sourcing activities and supplier selection.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage performance.
• Drive negotiation strategy and lead complex contracts.
